This warm and welcoming home in the North Fair Oaks neighborhood is one you cannot miss! North Fair Oaks is a hidden gem on the peninsula, an authentic neighborhood intentionally designed for children, walking dogs, and riding bikes.
The curved pass-throughs, filled with flowers and greenery, slow traffic and add natural beauty. It is a place where people say hello and neighbors know and look out for one another. If you drive by at the right time, you will witness Friday Happy Hours, where neighbors on Ninth Avenue and beyond pull up a chair outside to talk and laugh for an hour or two.
When you walk through the gate and up the flagstone walkway of this charming home, you can’t help but smile–it seems to say, “I’m so glad you’re here!”
The open floor plan gives the home an airy feel, allows lots of natural light to shine in, and fills the house with warmth and good energy. The living room is spacious yet feels cozy and warm, a wonderful place to gather and enjoy time together.
The kitchen has granite countertops and a butcher block island with breakfast bar seating. Adjacent to the kitchen is a laundry room with a pantry or storage closet.
The bright dining room has a sliding door that connects seamlessly to the outdoor patio and garden. The backyard is private and green, perfect for a barbeque dinner with family and friends or a retreat for simple solitude. There is also an area perfect for a firepit!
The primary suite is light and bright, surrounded by well-appointed windows and a sliding door to access the backyard. The beautifully updated bathroom has a large bathtub and shower.
Two additional bedrooms are situated off the living area in a way that offers individual space and privacy. They are serviced by a hall bathroom with a shower over the tub.
The finished garage with a full bathroom provides a bonus space for an office, guest room, and storage. The French doors opening to the patio and backyard allow for yet another way to enjoy these spaces together and separately.
The front porch is a lovely place to see the world go by, including a wave or chat, and its yard fills with flowers, olives, and birds. The gated and fenced side yard is perfect for a garden and is lined by producing-grafted apple trees, each branch bearing a different kind of apple. Along the back fence are two edible wild plum trees that burst with beautiful blossoms in the Spring.
Conveniently located near Marsh Manor shopping center, less than a mile away, which includes Deluccis Grocery Store, State of Mind Pizza, Freewheel Brewery, Los Gallos Taqueria, CorePower Yoga, Wells Fargo, Starbucks, a bakery, florist, and more! Palo Alto, Menlo Park, and Redwood City downtowns are all easily and quickly accessible.
A wonderful place to call home!

Home to more than 10,000 street trees, numerous venture capital firms, and social media giant Facebook, Menlo Park packs a lot into its 9.8 square miles. The city offers residents a lovely place to live amid tree-lined neighborhoods and a friendly community.
The city of more than 33,000 got its name from two Irishmen who posted a wooden sign that read "Menlo Park" outside their massive estate in the 1850s. When the railroad came to the area a decade later, officials spotted the sign and gave the station the same name.
Menlo Park incorporated twice -- first in 1874 and then in 1927 -- and remained a primarily rural community until World War I, when some 43,000 soldiers trained at Camp Fremont.
Today, the city borders Redwood City, Atherton, Palo Alto, East Palo Alto, and Stanford University, as well as San Francisco Bay. Its populace is quite educated, with 70 percent of people older than 25 having at least a bachelor’s degree, according to 2016 United States Census Bureau data. The median household income is $122,000, and the median home value is $1.375 million.
In 2011, Facebook moved its headquarters from Palo Alto to Menlo Park. Other businesses and agencies with a strong presence in the city include SRI International and the venture capital firms of Sand Hill Road. The independent bookstore Kepler’s Books has been a local institution for decades, and numerous stores and restaurants line Santa Cruz Avenue, the city’s main shopping street. The city also offers 12 parks and a wide array of recreational activities.
